Hypaphonik is a South African producer from the Eastern Cape, born in Dimbaza and raised in King William’s Town. His sound moves through deep, atmospheric and Afro-influenced house, shaped by layered percussion, melodic textures and live instrumentation. His relationship with Stay True Sounds began in 2021 with his remix of EUGGY’s “Westside Warriors”, followed by his first release for the label, Organic EP. His debut album ALTAIR followed in 2022, with more recent releases including Trichlor with Privacii and his 2026 album MILA continuing to expand his sound within the STS catalogue.
