Originally from Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal, LaTique began producing in 2013 before establishing himself within South Africa’s deep house scene. His relationship with Stay True Sounds began alongside Pierre Johnson on “Money & Power”, which opened Stay True Sounds Vol.2 in 2019. He followed with Ebenezer EP 2 and Winter Tones EP in 2020, further shaping a sound built around deep, soulful grooves and understated electronic production.
