Cape Town producer Kudbeu, also known as Pierre Johnson, has been part of South Africa’s deep house landscape for a number of years. His connection with Stay True Sounds goes back to his earlier work as Pierre Johnson, including L’avenir EP in 2018, before developing Kudbeu as a new production alias. He now returns to the label alongside Kana for their remix of Alexkid’s “Love We Have”, bringing their own deep, groove-led approach to a record with a long-standing connection to South African dancefloors.
